Comedy Festival Returns to Lincoln

Filed under: News — admin @ 11:01 am

Marcus Brigstocke, star of Live at the Apollo, Would I Lie To You? and QI, is just one of the famous faces who will be performing at the Lincoln Comedy Festival this year.

The line-up for the festival has been announced and the tickets are now on sale! The festival will officially run from 3rd until 11th October with a pre-festival show from The Boy With Tape On His Face at Lincoln Drill Hall on 29th September. The shows will take place across the three main venues for comedy in the city – Lincoln Drill Hall, LPAC and Engine Shed.

There will be a variety of performances throughout the festival from well known acts such as Marcus Brigstocke and Andi Osho to some of the best up-and-coming talent in the UK such as Chris Ramsey and Rob Rouse.

Shaun Almey, Festival Director, commented: “It’s been great getting the programme together for our fifth festival.  We’ve brought back a few shows that have done well at previous festivals and given them longer time slots for new shows.

“We have also dropped in some great shows by acts that haven’t been to the city before so we are really looking forward to another celebration of comedy and having a laugh. And with the cost of tickets varying from £15 to free admission we’re hoping that there’s something for everyone to go along and enjoy.”
